Pre-orders of all the devices unveiled today can be made in the Amazon marketplace, with the exception of Echo Buttons. To get this offer, you'll just need to add three Echos to your Amazon cart, and the company will deduct $50 off your purchase. That seems to be the case with the newest member of their family, the Echo Spot. Finally Amazon showed off a new product, the Echo Spot, which is a tiny Echo speaker with a 2.5 inch display. If you live in the United Kingdom or Germany an have been waiting on the Echo Show, you can place pre-orders for the speaker from the buttons below this post.
The new Fire TV is integrated with Dolby Atmos and has an Alexa voice remote. The Echo Plus will be available in white, black and silver for $149.99 and will ship out with a Philips smart light bulb on the house.
Amazon also announced its expanding Alexa calling and messaging - which was introduced four months ago - to include support for free outbound calls to numbers in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Coming in at $129, the Echo Spot's pricing places it in the middle ground between the more expensive Echo Show ($229) and the cheaper Echo (now $99) and Echo Dot devices. "The all-new Echo and Echo Plus deliver better sound, all new far-field technology and new features we think customers will love".
The first Echo device described as containing a "smart home hub", the high- powered Echo Plus automatically detects smart home products when switched on, and connects to them with approval from owners.
It is now available for pre-order for $129 United States dollars, but will not ship until December 19. Limp also revealed that there were more than 5,000 people working on Alexa and Alexa-enabled devices at the Seattle-based company. However, the price difference apart, there are several factors that makes the two set-top box offerings unique in their own rights. Built-in camera lets you use the device as a baby monitor, for example, to monitor the children. And the new $100 flagship Echo, which comes with improved sound that may make it a popular choice for those who prioritize music streaming over other Alexa features. The Echo Spot will launch in the USA in December for US$129.99.
